Do you have problems with flushing, blushing or redness of your face? April is Rosacea Awareness Mon
Rosacea is a very common chronic skin condition in Irish people and has been nicknamed the "curse of the Celts." It is characterised by facial redness, superficial dilated blood vessels and acne-like lesions on the cheeks, nose, forehead and chin.
Sunlight is the leading cause of rosacea flare-ups. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher every day, preferably containing titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, or both. Our favourites are Elta MD Clear and Revision Intellishade Original.
